WOTE STADIUM CONSTRUCTION RESUMES IN KENYA
Construction work has resumed at KSh. 350 million Wote Stadium in Makueni county, Kenya. The contractor building the 20,000-people capacity stadium has resumed site activities following the nationwide ease of lockdown due to corona virus.
During a recent site inspection by Senior National Government officials, they urged the contractor to expedite work at the stadium to have it ready by December 2020. Key works include design & construction of football pitch, public terraces, VIP terraces, changing rooms and public washrooms, perimeter fence, the drilling of borehole and the installation of an irrigation system.
Works at Wote stadium in Makueni county have resumed with the contractor back on site.
